The Above Examinent bern first duly Sworne
Saith that he being in Company with one
Anthony Chapman< no role > were beleefed at the Greate James Tavern
in Bishopsgate Streete wiling [..]
There hapend to arise Some difference betweene
this depont & Sd. Chapman Aboute a years
att Cards which was given agt. him by the
deceased Brother who Tould him he was
in the wrong & desired him Seaverall tymes
to be Quite not with standing the Said
Chapman deceased give this Beammant
two Blows in the face & Tore of his
wige & afferwards drew one of his Swore
& made two porsses at him before he Could
drew his own Sword in his own defence &
after another pass made this deponent
Rune She deceased Chapeman in to his
keepe
Body about five Inchess blow his Right
Crest of which wound hedeceaseddyed in
aboute of another howerafterwards
