and a Hankercher marked I: B tyed about his head and this Informt.
goeing to unbind his hands found the Gape where with he was bound to
be tyed in soe many Knotts that he was faine to gett a Knife to suit it
Thereupon this Informt. Examined the said John Branson< no role > Junr . of
the manner of the Robbery who said that betweene 3 and 4 of the
Clock that Morneing a Man Knocket at the Chamber doore
whereupon he putt on his Night Gowne and Slippers and went to the
doore and demanding who was there the Person without said he
came with a Letter from Coll Perry for this Informt. and that thereupon
he opened the doore and held it in his hand to receive the Letter but
the Person without rushed in upon him and tooke him by the Coller
of his Shirt and swore he would kill him if he made any Noyse
and imediately pulled out a Pistoll or other Gunn out of his
Pockett and presented it to his head and the said Person tooke a
handkercher out of his owne Pockett and bound it over the said
Bransons Eyes and at the same time bound his hands behind him
his Night Gowne being then on and then ledd him downe Staires
into his Chamber and laid him on the Bedd and threw the
Cloathes over him and salt by him whilst another person (who
came in after the said Branson was bound and before he was ledd
into his Chamber) broake open the Chamber doore Cabinett and
Chest of Drawers as aforesaid and that the Robbers stayed in the
Chamber about an hour and this Informt. askeing him why he
did not at first cry out and why he say from about 5 when the
Rogues were gone till 7 of the Clock without crying out or
giveing notice of the said Robbery there being persons in ye. next
Chamber and also in the Chamber over head & the Temple watch
being in the next staire Case but one (and his Leggs being at
liberty) he replyed that he was afraid for that he did not
know that the said Robbers were gone

And this Informt. doth suspect the said John Branson< no role > Sen
because about the time the robbery aforesaid was comitted he
lodged with the said John Branson< no role > Junr . in this Informts Chamber
and was in a very low and meane Condicon and very meane
in habitt since which time he hath gotten good apparrell and
hath compounded this Debts wth. all or most of his Credrs. as this
Informt. hath heard and beleives he haveing seen his Instrumt.
