Whereas complaint hath beene made unto us Whose hands &
Seales are hereunto Sett two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace
for the Citty of London
(Quorum unus) by the Church-
-wardens and overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Alban
Woodstreete London that

& his Wife are
lately come into the said Parish without giveing any Notice in
writeing of the place of his Abode or number of his Family
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the said
Parish as by Law is required and are likely to become
chargeable unto the same Parish unles timely prevented And
for assunchas Oath is made before us by the

that
He inhabited in Silverstreet
in a house there for twenty one years
as a House keeper at the rent of twenty six pound p Annum
in the Parish of St. Olave Silverstreet where he paid Taxes and
served severall offices

Their are therefore in his Majesties Name to require & Comand
you the Officers of the said Parish of St. Alban Woodstreet
LondonSome or One of you to take passe &
carie away the said
Zachary Read< no role >
and
Isabell< no role >
his wife
out of the said Parish of St. Alban Woodstreete
unto the Parish of St. Olave Silverstreet
aforesaid
and there deliver them to the Churchwardens & Overseer
the Poore of the Same Parish or to Some or One of them
Who are hereby likewise in his Majesties name required
to receive and provide for Them according to Law and
hereof you Nor any of you are to faile given under
our handes & Seales this 23th: day of June 1696
