Who Saith that he has known James Raymond< no role >
about
Six or Seaven years past, And that about four years
Since, this Informt. & the sd. Raymond lived in
severall houses in Bridgewaters Buildings
nere
Barbican, & became very intimately acquainted
& the sd. Raymond told this Informt., how & in what
manner he drove A trade in Clipping money, &
proposed to there this Informt. how he might do.
So too, which this Informt. declined. And Saith
That he has seen the sd. Raymond slip halfe
Crowns, Shillings, & Six penses, (about three
pounds at A time) five or Six times, whilst her
lived in Bridgwaters Buildings
And Saith
That about three years since, the sd. Raymond
removed from thence to the upper End of the
Artillery Ground
next Bunhill Fields
where he
Staye about halfe A year, in which time this
Informt. Saw him, twice, clip the Cullant Coyn
of this Realm, being in his Room at the lane
he did so clip. Afterwards this Informt. Saith
the sd. Raymond removed to A private Lodging
& has ever since continued in Lodgings, as he
beleives & often changed the same, & sometimes
has gon by the name of Mr. Jordan. And this
Informt. further Saith, That about two months Since
the sd. Raymond proposed to him, to impley him in
Clipping broad moneys for him the sd. Raymond
& to give this Informt. Six pence P pound prosses
for so doing, But this Informt. refussed to accept.
