Singlewoman , taken upon Oath before me Wills: Withers< no role >
Esqr . one of his Maties: Justices of peace for the said County
this 3d: day of June Ano: Dom: 1695

The Said Informt. upon her oath now Saith that betwixt
Two and Three of the clock in the afternoone on this Prsent,
day Come to her Shopp in the Said Parish a Woman whose
was then to her this Informt. unknown but is now knowne
by the name of Alice< no role > the wife of Walter Stephens< no role > which said
Alice Stephens< no role > did then in this Informants Said Shopp
cheapem and aske the price of Severall prices and Sorts of Ribbons
which was then Shown to her but, did not, buy any; and
Imediately after the said Alice Stephens< no role > was gone she this Informt.
missed one peice of Ribbon Called Blew Spanish ribbon value
Twelfe shillings which was showne as aforesaid to the said
Stephens, and she this Informt. makeinge pursuite after the said
Stephens and presently findeinge her, she then told this Informt.
that she did take the said ribbon out of her said shopp and give
its to another person she Mr. Cott, in the Streett.
