Whereas it is enacted by the Comon Council for
the better Regulating of the Fellowship of
Billingsgate Porters there should be yearly chosen
now Rulers for the Governmt. of that Society
by virtue of which Act the Rulers of the said
Fellowship did call a Court of Assistants and
likewise a Comon hall and did unanimously
make choice of these men whose names are
underwritten to be Rulers for the year ensueing
The which choise I have perused and find the
Said Psons capable for the managemt. of
that trust And do desire you would be pleased
to Swear them accordingly Vizt.
