Who saith on Oath that on or about the 13th. day of Aprill
last about the houre of six a Clocke in the evening that day

went to the signe of the Sallmon & Ball
in longe Ally
were Moorefields in the Parish of St Leonard Shoredith
Who all of them went up two paire of staires and
lookeing thro the Keye hole of the Doore he sawe in
the roome Peter Whittington,

all three of them clipping of mony and further
Saith that
Wm Smith< no role >
aforesaid did open the Doore Who
with this Informant & the aforesaid Mandrell went into
the said roome where he this Informant saw the said
Wm. Smith< no role >
take up in the said roome a blue lymen
Apron Wrapt up in which this Informant sawe clippings &
mony Clipt now in the Custody of the said Smith Wife
And this Informant further Smith he with the said Smith
and Mandred seized the aforesaid Whittington and
caried him to the Kings Armes Taverne in Cateaton
streete & whilst he this Informant went for a Constable
the said Whittington made his escape, the said Hewet
& White haveing made theire escape whilst this Depont
& the said Smith & Mandrell were searching the roome
where they) found the clipings & clipt mony
