The Examinacon of Mabell Symonds< no role > taken before
me Sir Thomas Stampe< no role > Kingstone of theire
Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City the
11th day of January 1692

This Examinant Saith that Jno. Jordan< no role > and Mary Seymor< no role > came
to this Examinant on Fryday the sixth of this instant Janury
to her Mistresses stall in the Stocks Market and desired
this examinant to goe to the Feather an Alehowse in the Stocke
Market to drinke with them which she accordingly did and
allso wisbed her to Buy a Cake which she did Cup) & paid 6d.
for the same, and then persuaded her to goe to the howse of one farmer an
Alehowse keper in Bricksence where they rate the Cake and
plaid at Cards and drinke Severall Cote of Beeres Ale
Where they remained Antiss about two a Clocke in the Morning
and then and there the said Jordon & his Wife persewaded
this deaminant to goetake& stay with them at theire lodging
all the Residue of the Said Night which she accordingly did
And this Examinant further Saith that on Sunday the £8 of
this instant Janry she went to the lodgeing of the said Jno. Jordon
Who perswaded this examinant to being to him her Clothes from
her Masters howse and he would provide for her and this
exam for there Saith that on Munday the 9th of this instant
Janry she tooke her Mistresses Gowne and Certiecoate, a
paice of Shoees a tippett & Scarfe a lymen tapp with lace
a head dreft with a Blacke hood which she went away
with from her Master howse in the hamset of Bodnall greene
in the Parish of StepensParishand being pursued by her
Master Sonne he overtooke this examinant in Bishop-
gate street in the Parish of St. Hellens and then this exam
threw all the thinges on the grownd (except the Scarfe saced
tap & tippet which she caried and left [..] at Greenwich
with her Sister the aforesaid Mary Seymor
