of this instant (as this Informt. beleives) ye decd. coming into ye. Kitchen
of ye sd. Taverne a Gent affrd. him how hee did the decd. replyed
that hee was very ill laying his right hand on ye right side of his
head saying that noe body knew ye paine hee was in & that hee
beleived hee should not live a Month to an end

hee did ye decd. told him that he was very ill and two Gent ye. night
before fell upon him & beate him haveing their or one of their
Swords drawne & complained of his head being broke & of a greate
paine he had there lifting up his hard to it & saying hee had
never such a blowe on his head in his life before ye same makeing
him reele
