Gregories London Turner taken upon oath
before me Sr William Turner< no role > Knt . and Aldrman
of London this 21th. day of November Anno

Who sayeth That soone afterElizabeth Katherine Austen< no role > had
parted with her husband she saw her at Mr Simpkins
in little Carter lane , and prsently she told this examint. that
her husband had poysoned her, with A hott pott, at A Cooks
Shop in St. Martins Le Grand , where they had Ale and
Brandy heated and she the said Elizabeth went for
Sugar and an Egg to mix with it, and when it was mixt
it was divided in two parts & she carryed downe one
part to make hott againe and when she had brought it up and
went to mixt it with the otherwith abouther said
husband took that she had heated a second time and
told her he would drink that, because it was hot, and
she should drink the other because it was coole
enough for her to drink or words to that effect, And
further told her, that when she had drank allmost
all the drink off she saw something white at the
bottome & she after her husband what it was, and he
told her he did not know unles it was the white of an
Egg and then she told him he loved the white of an
Egg and bid him drink it, and he bidd her drink it up
it would doe her good, and she told him no she would
drink no more it had made her already sick, with that she
put her finger to the bottome of the pott and found
it was white powder and he would have her againe
drink it, but she Refuseing, he said it should stand
for the boy, And at last when he saw she would not
drink it, he shook it round in ye pott & flung it away
then she took up the pott againe and fell the white
powder at the bottome, and then told him he had
poysoned her, And he told her he had fill'd a pipe of
Tobaccoe but would not stay to smoke it but would goe
with her to Mr Lee in Carter lane and drink A Pott
of Ale and soe see her home, and see they went away
and in Blow bladder Street she was very Sick and vomited
and told him that he had poysoned her whereupon he
told
