The Informacon of Barbarah Hinton< no role > taken
upon oath this second day of Decembr. Anno Dm
1692 before me Sr Wm. Turner< no role > Knt & Aldrman of the
City of London

Who sayeth That last night about 8 or 9 of the Clock
one Mary Jeffreys< no role > came into her house with A
Gentl to drink and went with him into a little roome
in the yard there being A fire to drink and did drink
two muggs of Drink and then she the said Mary
came into the Kitchen and stay'd there about
halfe an houre leaveing the Gentl in ye roome
in the yard, and some time after she was gone
this Examint. inst A Silver Tankard and followed
her home and took her but could not find the
Tankard about her, but she the said Mary Sitting
neere the Cubbord where the Tankard was and ye. keyes being and the
Cubbord, this Informt. suspects her to have stole the
said Tankard there being noe body but A man and
a woman that drank by the Kitchen fire who did
not goe away, but stayd and were search when
the Tankard was missing

The Informacon of Mary Smith< no role > taken
but not upon oath she being very young

Who sayth that she saw the said Mary Jeffreys< no role >
come into the Kitchen leaving the gentl in the
little roome in the yard, and she took a Chaire and
sett downe neere the Cubbord where the Silver Tankard
was that was lost, she this Informant haveing put that Silver Tankard
with an other Silver tankard In the said Cubbord
whilst the said Mary Jeffreys< no role > was in the Kitchen
there being A man and a woman in the Kitchen neere
the fire with their backs towards the Cubbord, the
Cubbord being neere the said Mary Jeffreys< no role > at the other
side of the roome, And the Tankard was missing about
halfe an houre after the said Mary Jeffreys< no role > was gone
there being no stranger in the roome besides the man and
woman that were drinking by the Sirbr all the while and
who were search't
