The Examinacon of Margaret Scott< no role > taken
before me Sr William Turner< no role > Knt . Adran
and one of their Maties. Justices of the peace
of the City of London this first day of
Decembr Anno Dm 1692.

Who sayth That whereas she is accused by William
Depree< no role > to have bought A Portmantle Trunk full
of goods of great vallue of one Walter Stevens< no role > for
five pounds about the 14th of November last And
that the said [..] Exaiate gave him 10s. and
the said Stevens gave him 10s. more for [..] to throw
the said Portmantle Trunk into the Thames, she
this Examint. is wholy innocent of the said matter
and every particular thereof and that the said
William Deprees An Sacon is altogether false.

Who sayth that on monday night he was taken neere
Ludgate buying Sugar Candy, but denyes he saw
Walter Stevens< no role > or knowes any thing of the stealing
of A Portmantle Trunk and goods from Mills the
Porter in St. Paules Church Yard or any thing of
the deposeing thereof or any matter relateing thereto
