taken upon Oath before me Sr Wm Turner< no role >
Knt . Alderman and one of their Maties Justices
of the Peace of the City of London this 2d.
day of Novembr Anno Dm 1692.

Who Sayeth That James Green< no role > Margaret Williams< no role > and
Elizabeth Oliver< no role > being last night drinking in his houseone
one paire of Staires one of this Deponts servts came to him
at A Coffee house And told him that he beleived the theives
were in the house that robbed the Neighboures two or three
nights before, where upon this Informt. watch't them and
sett one of his Servts. to watch them likewise, And this
Informt. standing in the Darke some hime Saw James Green< no role >
come downe staires to his company, and in A little time went
downe Staires as this Informt. beleives to buy some Informt.
fit for his purpose and quickly returning againe to his
Company in a little while went up Haires in the Darkes
and stay'd about an houre, and then returned to his Company
without any thing with him as he could see wth was about 8 oclocks, then
one of the women took A Candle out of the Candle stilk and
went upstaires and the other woman followed her imedeately
and staying About a quarter of an houre, one of them came
downe with A bundle in her Apron and when She had layd
them downe, she came out of the roome againe and seeing
no body on the staires, beckoned wth.her Singer to the other
woman up Staires, and prsently the otherwoman thereupon
came downe with A great bundle in her [..] Apron
And then this Informt Sent for A Constable and which that
none of them Should goe away and haveing sent to the
neighbours to know who was robbed and prsently diverse of
them came to his house and Mr Tho: Southerland< no role > came
and owned the said goods that were in his house in the room
and Custody of the send James Green< no role > Margaret Williams< no role > and
Eliz: Oliver And when the said James Green< no role > was searched
he had A Dark Canthorne & picklocks & other things found about
him
