The Information of Owen
Jones

Perkins
< no role > of the Old Bailey
Silver Flatter taken before me
this 25th: day of October 1788

Who being upon Oath says that he has known
Robert Cooper< no role > about two Years that he became
acquainted with said Cooper through Cooper
purchasing Metal and Cross at Mr. Perkins's
House That he hath Melted Silver for said Cooper
three or four times at Mr. Perkins's null each
time that the first time he melted for said
Cooper was about six or seven Months ago consisting
of French Crowns some few Dollars and some
Rupees a Broken Tea Spoon and a few broken
Buckles but nothing else whatsoever That
this melting produced two Ingots consisting of
about one Hundred Ounces each which Ingots
said Cooper took away paying this Informant one
half penny per Ounce for Melting them That
about a Month after this the said Cooper came
again to the said Flatting Miles and brought
Articles of Silver of the same kind before mentioned
but of no other which this Informant melted in the
presence
