this 26th.. day of Janry 1789

Who being upon Oath saith that in or about the
Month of September last the person now present who
calls himself Jacob Canter< no role > frequently came to this
Informants said Coffee HouseThat he hath Known
William Morris< no role > one of the Porters of Grays Inn for
eighteen Months last past and that he has often seen
the said Canter employ the said Morris on going
of Messages for him

The Information of George Writer one of the Waiters at
the Grays Inn Coffee House taken before me this 26th.
day of Janry 1789

Who being upon oath saith that he Knows the person now
present who calls himself Jacob Canter< no role > and has
frequently seen him at said Coffee House in or
about the Month of September lastAnd further
says that the said Canter hath several times sent
this Informant for William Morris< no role > one of the Porters
of Grays Inn to come to him at said Coffee House,
and this Informant has repeatedly seen the said
Jacob Canter< no role > deliver Notes and other Papers to the
said William Morris< no role > And this Informant further
