day of December 1789 at the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westmr in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Sarah Whitlam< no role > Eyurg dead
in the said Parish Liberty and, Covent

Robert Hale< no role > of Taylor's Buildings
Bedford bury in the Parish of St. Martier in
the Fields Ship Rigger< no role > on his Oath saith
that on Sunday Evening last the Sixth Instant
between Six and seven o'Clock this Dept. was
in Oxford Sheet when he saw a Man driving
a Coach along Oxford Street which he afterwards
found to be the Aylesbury Street Coach drawn by
four Horses. Says that the Coachman was
driving the Horses very fast, and that the
Deced Sarah William was riding upon the
Coach box with the Coachman That to the
Near fore Wheels of the Coach struck against
an upright Post in the Around in the said
Street in the Parish of St. Mary le bone
and Split the Post Says that the Coach
was there over turned and that the Deced
was thrown down upon the Stone Pavement
in the Coach Way, where Dept. saw her Set
bleeding from [..] the Head, Says
that Deced spoke but very little and Dept.
cannot say whether she was Sensible or not
Says that he assisted to lift up the Coach and
then upon away Says that theDecedCoachman appeared
to be in Liquor when the Coach was over turned
