The Information of [..] William
Townsend
< no role > and George Pemberton< no role > taken Oath the
Seventh day of November 1789 before me one of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex .

This Informant William Townsend< no role > Saith That there hath
Lately been stolen from a Dwelling house in Lambs street in the
Parish of Christ Church belonging to him this Informant and
Samuel Windmill< no role > a large Quantity of Gutter Lead< no role > and
other Lead their property

Wm. Townsend< no role >

This Informant George Pomberton Saith That he is by Trade
a Plumber and being applied to by the above mentioned William
Townsend
< no role > and Acquainted that a person was in Custody of the
peace officers belonging to the Public Office in Shoreditch on
Suspicion of Stealing some Lead, he went to the said Office
with the said William Townsend< no role > and on seeing the said Lead
it appeared to be the some that was stolen from the said
house as aforesaid and immediatly went to the house where
it was taken from and took of a Remaining part of the
Gutter Lead and brought the same to the Public Office
aforesaid and compared the same with the Lead they had
there in the Custody of the Officers and it is Exactly as it was cut
off, And further Saith that he verily believes that
the said Lead is the same that was out and carried away
from the Dwelling house of the said William Townsend< no role > and
Samuel Windmill< no role > as aforesaid.
