The Information of Elizabeth Taylor< no role >
taken before me this 4th. day of October
1789

Who being upon Oath says that she lives at
No 19 in Duck Lane Westminster at the House of Joseph Fardy
that about the 24th. of August last in the afternoon to the
cost of this Information recollection Henry Lloyd< no role > and John
Daniel
< no role > now present came to her Apartment and Daniel asked her
to pawn his Watch that he gaoe the said Watch into this
Informants hands it was a Silver one with Pink Sattin
lining to the outward Case and a paper for an Ornament
that there was either Chain Ribbon Seal or Key to the
said Watchthat she Immediatly returned said Watch
to said Daniels and Refused to Pawn it that when said
Daniels and Lloyd first came into her Apartments
Daniels put his hand into his Waistcoat Pocket and
took from thence the Steel chain and Yellow Metal Seal
now Produced and threw it into a Drawer which
was open Saying as he threw it "there is any Old Chain"
and they then went away taking the said Watch with them
that the next Morning Lloyd came alone to her Lodgings
and Informed this Informant that Daniel had had
his Watch pawned by the Wife of William Hodges< no role >
a Solder in the same Company for one Guinea
