this Informant further Saith that
the said Maria Brown< no role > continued in
the possession of the said appartments
from the said both day of January
last until Tuesday the fourth day of
August instant when this Informant
was told by some people in the
neighbourhood that She night now
get possesion of her appartments if
She liked for that the Collector of
the Kings Tax had broke open the
Door for Taxes, That this Informant
knocked at the Door and was admitted
into the house by some person belonging
to the Collector, and upon searching
the house found that there had been
feloniously taken and carried away
therein the following things to wit
seven window Curtains, the furnitures
of two four post Bedsteads one feather
Bed, three Blankets two pillows
two white cotton counter panes two Quitts
three looking glasses a pair of metal
Candlesticks a mahogany Dining
Table and other things of the value of
Ten Pounds the property of the said
