before me this 17th. day of August 1789.
Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
Elizabeth Babington< no role >
for herself says that on Saturday night last she
went to Sleep in a Barn belonging to Mr Marsh at Tapperhale
near Hendon in Company with the Prisoner now present who calls
himself Robert Eaton< no role >
and Alice Eaton< no role >
his Wife at which time there
was no other person in the Barn to her knowledge, that between
five and Six oClock yesterday morning she awoke, found the
said Robert Eaton< no role >
and his Wife were gone and perceived that her
Pocket had been picked of the Snuff box now produced by Benjamin
Price< no role >
containing ten pence together with another Snuff box containing
four shillings, that she went in pursuit of the said Robert Eaton< no role >
and his wife and found than at Hendon And the said Benjamin
Price< no role >
for himself says that the Snuff box and [..] Money
now produced by him he found upon the person of the said
Robert Eaton< no role >
whom he secured.
