The Informations of Sarah Mails
Servant at George Bests Esqr. Stamford Brook< no role >
and Joseph Emins< no role > at Mr Boldens Turnham< no role >
Green Shepherd< no role > taken on Oath before me
this 9th. day of September 1789.

Who being on Oath severally says and first the
said Sarah Mails for herself says that the Various Articles of
Wearing Apparel now produced by william Hayward< no role > Constable
are the Property of this Informant and George Best< no role > Esqr.
her Master at Stanford Brook, that she washed all the
aforesaid things on Monday last and at nights put them
into her Master Laundry to dry, and upon her going into
said Laundry Yesterday morning about Nine oClock she found
all the aforesaid Articles gone and the Laundry Window
broke open And the said Joseph Emins< no role > for himself says
that this morning about seven oClock he saw the Prisoner now
Present who calls himself John Sefely go into a field of
Mr Boldens at Turnham Green through which there was no
thorough fare and in which field was a Dunghill, that
Suspecting said Safely was upon no good he watched him and
saw him Scratch away some [..] Dung from the Dunghill in said
Field and take there out two bundles, that he then followed said
Safely into Acton Field where he asked him what he had got
there, who replied it was no business of his, that upon Informts.
insisting upon seeing what he had got said Safely threw
the two Bundles down, and told Informant, that he
