Wanted Names to be put on Several of said Watches and that they
all wanted regulating by this Informant Pricious to their
final delivery to said Vander Cruysen< no role > he the said Vander
Creysen
< no role > told this Informant that he would take said
Watshunt his Room and write the Names and Alterations
upon Tickels against [..] [..] fond said Mt. Vauech's
and made an appointment for this Informant and Mt.
Anthony Pollon< no role > to dine with him that day at three o'Clock
at the Rainbow Coffee House in King Street Covent Garden
that this Informant took Coach and prosecuted the said draft
at Mr Vauceh's Merchant in Broad Street where he was
informed they knew nothing of the drawer and consequently
did not pay the Bill that upon his return to Troome'r
Hotel he found said Vander Cruysen< no role > was gone and
the Watches also and their Informant further says that he
Suspects and believes that the said Vauder Cruysen feloniously
and falsely made forged and counterfeited the said Bill of
Exchange and published the same as have with an
me when to defrand this Informant of the said such
of Two Hundred and eightly Pounds and doth also suspect
and believe that he feloniously Stole his thirteen Gold
Watches And the said Harman Govertz for himself
says that he is Clerk to Messrs. Garardand Joshua
Vane Neck & Co. Merchants in Broad Street that
he hath carefully examined the aforesaid Bill of
Exchange now produced and very said that no
person of the Name of Vernard keeps Cach
with them nor have they any concern or
connections with any person of that Name and
Further says he is very sure that the Prisoner Vauder
Compson now Present never had any Account with
them And the said Patrick Mr. Manus for himself
says that he Yesterday searched the Prisoner upon
his being brought from Margate and found the three
Gold Watches and purse now produced on the Inside
of the seat of his Breeches concealed and the duplicate
now produced in his Waistcoat Pocket, And the said
William Mould< no role > for himself says that on
Saturday
