Middlesex to wit


The Information of Joseph byder< no role > No. 2
Little Pultency Street [..] taken before
me this 1st. day of April 1788.

Who being upon Oath says That on Monday Morning
the 24th. March last he was as called out of Bed by his wife
between two and three o Clock in the Morning who the eight she
small Fire. That immediatly upon getting out of Bed this
Informant looked out of the window of his Bed Room which
is over the Yard behind David otherwise Daniel Clary< no role > 's House
and where he head two Persons [..] taking to whom he
called & asked where the Fire was, but received no other Answer
[..] a Cry of hush hush. That this Informant then
called to the Persons whom he heard talking & told them he
would find out where the Fire was and immediately went
down Stairs into the Street. That he was present when
Clarys Shop window was broken open And says that there
was then some Smoke in the Shop but not so much as to
present his seeing any Goods that night have been there
but is very sure there were none.
