Who saith he is 35 Years Old,andwas born at Beverleyandwas bred
a Gentlemans Servant, and has lately dealt in Horses, That he lives at
No.8 Bryanston Street
that he has known a Person now Present who
calls himself John Robinson< no role >
five Months that he know him first
in Newgate, where they were both Prisoners for debt that he cannot
tell where Robinson lives, That on friday evening last in the absence
of Examinant, Robinson sent Mr Mannington's Horse to his Stable
That on Saturday morning between Cand 7 o' Clock he took said Horse
out of this Examinant Stable in order to try him and to look for
Robinson, whom he thinks, the Night before appointed to meet him at the
Fulham Bridge
. That after leaving Mr Mannington Coachman
at Hyde Park Corner
he called at the sign of the Fulham Bridge
at Knightsbridge
, but did not StopThat Robinson had no Horse
to Examinants knowledge at the Fulham Bridge
that he went to Fulham
then Returned to Westminster Bridge
, over Saint George's Field and over
London Bridge
, and thro' the City, looking for Robinson. That he left
said Mr. Mannington's Horse at the Leaping Bar in Saint John
Street
Clerkenwell
and gave orders for said Horse to be fed from time
to time and observed that "there was a dispute about said Horse".
That he beleives the Horse to be at said Stables now; Says that he
did not send said Robinson to brey Mr Manningtons Horse, now
did he receive any directions from this Examinant so to do, says that
he did not inform said Robinson, he would meet him with the
Money at the Golden Horse in Oxford street
.
