this 13th day of January 1787 who being on their Oaths
Say and first The said William Stevenson< no role > on his Oath says
on the 26th: day of Decemr lastaboutthe hour Six in
the Evening as he was going along Old Street St. Luke Middx
homewards with his Brother the aid Mathew Stevenson< no role >
he was attached by Two or Three men who knocked him down
and took from him The Silver Watch produced which had then and outward
Case of Silver Two Guineas and One half Guinea in Gold a Crown piece
and Two Shilingsofin Silver and a Silver Dollar And that the prisoner who
says his Name is John Walker< no role > andbe verily believes istheOne of the said
men who attached and Robbed him as aforesaid

Mathew Stevenson< no role > on his Oath says he was walking with his said
Brother on the 26th day of Decr. last about the hour of Six in the
Evening in Old Street and being a Little before him looking
and not seeing him he went back and found him with Three men who
were beating him as he lay on the Ground and is certain that
he saw the said John Walker< no role > take his Brothers watch out
of his Watch Pocket Says one of the said Men had a Doal
Coat on who Struck him for [..] Assisting his said Brother

Matthew Stevenson< no role >

Joseph Elt of Pettycoat Lane Spitalfield Victualer on his Oath says
on the 26th. day of December last about the hour of Nine at night
The said John Walker< no role > brought a Watch to him which he believes in
the Watch produced and wanted this Informant to read him mony
thereon which he refusedsays a Day or Two afterward the said John
Walker
< no role > came to him and said the said Watch was advertized and
[..] that he had pawned the same for fifteen Shillings and wanted him to
lead the Said Sum or to go with him and redeem it That he
went with the said John Walker< no role > to Mr. Richard Warners< no role > a Pawnbroker
in Whites Row Spitalfied and Redeemed the said Watch
Richard Warner< no role > on his Oath says The Watch produced is the same Watch
which the said John Walker< no role > pledged with himeitherin the26thEvening of
the 26 or 27th day of December last
