and leaping Bar in Saint John Sheet
taken before me this 19th. day of Febry
1787
Who being on Oath says that on Saturday Morning
last about half past eight o'Clock a person now
Present who calls himself George Newman< no role >
brought the Horse now produced to Mr. Watson's
Livery Stables in Saint John Street
and left
him there saying that he should be there two
or three days and desired this Examinant would
take care of his House and to give him halfe
Peck of Oats at Night and half a Peck in the
Morning until he saw him again which would
be on Monday (Meaning this day) and that he
Newman would third of the Informant for
his care of him. Says that said Newman for
said Horse when he brought him in.
