The Information of Elizabeth
Barber< no role > taken before me one of
his Majesty's Justices of the peace
in and for the said County
Who being upon Oath saith that on the
Nineteenth of November instant being
at the Sign of the Shovell a Public House
in appear East Smith field about Seven o'Clock
in the Evening when a Person now present who
calls himself Robert Berks< no role > asker her to drink
which she accordingly did some Shruble that
they went from the said Public House both
together to this Inform to Lodging at [..] No 45
Cable Streets St. George Middx and continued there
together about half an hour and drank some
More Shrubb that from thence they went both
together to the Sign of the Ship in distress in upper
East Smith field and continued in that Public
House about half an hour and then they
agreed together to go home to this Informts
Lodgings as aforesaid and to Sleep together
That Night that about Ten o'Clock they
both went to bed together he getting into
bed first this Inform fastening the Door with
a Barr that before she got into Bed she
took a Tin Nutings Grater containing One
Guina and Two half Guinea in Gold out
of her Pocket and Pup it into her Box in he
said Room and locked pit and put the key in the pocket that dwang the night he seemed
very Restless and got out Bed once or twice
and in the Morning between Six and Seven
o'Clock he got up and went away out of Doors
