on his Oath Saith That soon after Christmas
last he went with Thomas Finch< no role >
and Alexander Green< no role >
the Prisoners
at the Bar in a Peter Boat and took from an Orier Ground on the tower
Side of Battersea Bridge
in the County of Surry. about Twenty Bundles
of Orier Twiggs which they Carried therein to new Crane Stairs
Shadwell
were the said Thomas Finch< no role >
and Alexander Green< no role >
went on shore
and soon returned with Two on three Persons unknown to this
Informant who Carried away the same TwiggsSays that within
Two or three Days afterwards this Informant the sd. Thomas Finch< no role >
Alexander Green< no role >
and one Richard Hyams< no role >
and John Goordericke< no role >
took
from the same place. a large Quantity of Orier Twiggs which they
Carried in a Skift and Peter Boat to new Crane Stairs
aforesaid where
they unloaded the Peter Boat upon the Causeway. That upon the
Watch Boat Coming up the said other Persons ran Away and left
this Informant in the Peter Boat who upon being Questioned by the
Watch denied his having Come down the riverSays that this
Transaction was late in the Evening but does not know what afterwards
became of the Twiggs
