The Information of Henry Matthews< no role > of Gray's
Inn Lane in the parish of St Andrew holbourn in the
said County Victualler taken upon Oath before me
Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esqr one of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County this tenth day of
March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and eighty seven

The said Henry Matthews< no role > on his Oath saith
that Jane Tyler< no role > lived with him as a hired Servant
in his house in Gray's Inn Lane aforesaid and quitted
her said service on the fifteenth day of January
last without the knowledge or consent of this Infor-
mant and or the following day this Informant
upon looking into a box which was kept in the
one pair of Stairs room in his said house [..]
found the same had been forced open & six Guineas
in Gold stolen there out which six guineas this
Informant saw safe in the said box on the said
fifteenth day of January a few hours before the
said Jane Tyler< no role > [..] quitted her service as aforesaid
And this Informant further upon his Oath saith
