High Street in the said County late a Pawn broker George Drysdell< no role >
of the said Street Victualer . James Packs< no role > apprentice to Charles Morgan< no role >
of the said Parish Coal Merchant and Daniel Sarls< no role > Apprentice to William
Gray
< no role > of Cock hill Shadwell Plumber and Glazier who being on their Oaths say
And first she said Elizabeth Dunlap for herself Saith she pair of Leather Shoes now
produced she Verily believes and has not a Doubt by Reason of the particular make of them
together with the Ticket in One of them but that they are her said Husbands property and were safe in
the Shop window on Tuesday night the 31 day of January last when she went to bed Says on Wednesday
morning The first Instant she heard a Cry of Stop thief she arose went to the Window soon
after when she saw the Prisoner who says his name is John Crawford< no role > in Custody with
one of his hand bloody - George Drysdell for himself saith on Wednesday Morning last
between the Hours of Eight and nine he saw the said John Crawford< no role > take a Shoe out of
the Window in the house of the said John Dunlap< no role > through one of the Squares That he pursued
him crying out Stop thief to love Lane and saw him Stopped by James Pack< no role > and soon
after Daniel Sarls brought him the Shoe now produced which he beleives to be the same
Shoe he saw the said John Crawford< no role > take as aforesaid, The said James Pack< no role > for himself
saith he heard a Cry of Stop thief on Wednesday Morning fast that he pursued the said John Crawford< no role > up love Lane at the [..]
Corner of which he saw him throw a Shoe away and believes is One of them now produced
and when he took him one of his hands was bloody at the Slunchees
Daniel Sarls for himself saith on Wednesday Morning last he [..] saw the said John Crawford< no role >
throw a Shoe from him at the Corner of Love Lane and run up the said Lane which Shoe he
picked up and gave it to the aforesaid John Drysdell< no role > and that he beleives The Shoe produced which
has a Ticket in it is the same Shoe he picked up as aforesaid
