Says on the 25 Jan. last a
Hogshead of Sperma Cate Oyl was taken from
his door between the Hours of Five and Six in
the Evening says he traced the said Hogshead into
Wentworth Street
, to the House of the Prisoner who
says his Name is Viner Cook< no role >
That he went for an Officer
and when he returned found his Boother Joseph Parker< no role >
who he had Informed of the Robbery and whose he suspected
the said Cash of oil was concealed in the house of the said
Viner Cook< no role >
and saw [..] that the said Cash of Oil had
been Stove and the Oil running about That the Staves
now produced are the Staves of the said Cask and the Sample
of Oyl now produced is part of the Oyl which run through
the Floor into the Cellar That he is certain the Staves are the
Staves of the said Cash and Verily beleives the oyl produced
is the same Oyl which was in the said Cask

in the Evening his Brother William Parker< no role >
informed him of his being
robbed of a Hogshead it Oil and about the hour of Eight the same
Evening he with Charles Dorman< no role >
went into Wentworth Street
to the house of Viner Cook< no role >
says he looked through the key hole
of the door and saw the said Viner lock cutting the hoops of a Cask
which Cask was then in his Shop. That he called to Dorman and
told him that the Hoops of a Cask was then cutting that [..]
he heard the Cask Burst and the Contents Running out says
he got into the said House and saw that a Cask of Oil had been cut by
the Hoops and Staves and Oil running about which Staves hoops
and Oyl his Brother William Parker< no role >
claimed as his property Says
he saw the said Viner Cook< no role >
at the door of his house who escaped whilst
he this Informant went for a Candle
