Who being upon Oath say and first the said William
Grennell< no role >
saith that on Wednesday Morning last at half past 6 o Clock
as this Informant was opening his Masters Shop (Mr. Penarie
Standing by him) Leonard Sullivan< no role >
now present who lodges in
his Masters House, accompanied by another Man came down Stairs
and went out together towards Drury Lane
Sullivan having at
this time under his Arm a large Bundle in a Wrapper which
appeared to this Informant to be Silk - that as Sullivan and
his Companion passd them - Sullivan asked Mr. Penarie if
he would go over the way and have something to drink
who replied in the Negative - And the said Matthew
Penarie says that he is a lodger at Mr. Costons a Carpenter
in
Wych Street
in the front room 2 Pair of Stairs - that he well
knows Leonard Sullivan< no role >
now present who occupies the back
room on the same Floor - that about 7 o Clock on Wednesday
Morning last as this Informant was Standing with William
Grennell< no role >
Mr Cortons Apprentice at Mr Cartons Door the said
Sullivan accompanied by another man came down Stairs
and went out and as they passd him said Sullivan asked
this Informant if he would have any thing to drink - when
