The Information of Francis
Hildersley

taken upon Oath before me this 14th day
of October 1785 .

Upon his Oath saith that on Saturday Evening last
about ten o'Clock Seeing a Woman having a disputes
with a Man in Mrs. Hay Markett , St. Jameis Crossed
from the Opposite Side, and there Saw a Woman in
Custody of a Watchman, the said Woman Immediately
took hold of a Gentlemans Collar who was Standing
by, their Prisoner Thomas Angle< no role > , took the Woman first
said he was a housekeeper, and took the Gentleman
round the waist to Rescue the Woman from him the
was intangled with the said Gentleman, and Sworn
and said lot him Alone, Immeidatly the Gentleman
loosed his hold and Said he had lost first Watch, the
said Thomas Ingle< no role > and the Woman Crossed the Street
Immediately the Woman Returned to the Watchaman
and said She had not been Away from him, in a
Short time After the Prisoners Thomas Ingle< no role > came up
then the Watchman Secured them both
