The Information of Sophia Stokes William
archibald and John Harris< no role > taken on Oath
before us John Staples< no role > and Samuel Hawkins< no role >
Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the said Country the
Fifteenth day of October 1785 .

And first Sophia Stokes< no role > for. herself saith
that on Thursday evening last she last at the
House [..] Richd. Brown Lambert< no role > the [..] was remarks Arms
in the parish of Saint Gorge Middlesex in
the said Country one Black Stuff Shoe
and a Silver Buckle that her Shoe was
afterwards brought to her in St. Georges
Watchhouse , Saith that the Buckle now
produced is the property of this Informant
and the same that she Cost as aforesaid
saith that the Two persons now present
who say their Names are Elizabeth
West< no role > and Sarah Connolly< no role > were in
[..] the same Room with this Informant when
she lost her Shoe and Buckle as
aforesaid

The said William Archibald< no role > for
himself saith Heat he was in the
CompanyHouse with the Last Mentioned
Informant sophia Stokes on Thursday
last at the [..] Sign of the Watermans Arms
in Wapping aforesaid when she Complained the
had lost her Shoe and Buckle That
he saw one of the said two prisoners
now present pick up a Shoe and
a Buckle near the Threshold of the
Door of the said House and go away
with the same of which he immediately
