Abziel Barrugh< no role > late of Shoemakers Row Dukes Place
Butcher taken before me this 13th. day of April 1785

Who being upon Oath says that on Sunday sixth day of
March last about seven oClock in the morning he was sent by his said
Master with some Cheese to a Mr. Habilia in Gravel Lane That
after he had left said Cheese he returned to his Masters HouseThat
as he was going up Stairs Jacob Aarons< no role > this Informants fellow
Servant told him he must not go up Stairs as there was Somebody
thereThat he asked said Jacob Aarons< no role > who it was, said Aarons
replied that Bill Steward< no role > Bill Harding< no role > and his Wife were up Stairs
That he asked said Aarons if they had brought any thing who said
they had brought some PlateThat this Informant went down Stairs
into the Shop where he continued about a quarter of an hour when
his & Master came in and went up StairsThat soon afterwards
said Aarons came down Stais and was going thr'o the Shop
Informant called agter him and asked him where he was going Aarons
said he was going to get change for a GiuneaThat in about
ten Minutes said Aarons returned and went up Stairs with the
Change in his HandThat in about five Minutes Aarons came
down again, said that Steward had given him half a Crown and that
if this Informant would go up he would give him half a Crown
That he went up Stairs into the fore Room called the Kitchen where he saw
said Bill Steward< no role > sitting by the Fire sidesaid Bill Harding< no role > sitting
in a Chair next him with his Wife on his Lap andhishis Master
standing near the Fire sideThat said Steward called him Gallows and
gave him half a CrownThat he went down Stairs and shortly afterwards
his Master came down with a Coarse Bag. in his Hand called out
