this Informant delivered the same day to said Thomas Castle< no role > in Long Lane Southwark
in order to take Care of for themThat abot three Weeks
ago, he went to said Castles House and asked him where
the Dollars were that this Informant and said Hitchcock
had left with themThat said Castle asked him where "Joe"was
(meaning the said Hitchcock) was, to which he replied, that
he was in France, that said Castle then told him that
he would not till any Person where said Dollars were
except he saw the said Hitchcock or had an Order from him
That about six or eight days ago (having understood that said
Hitchcock was come to England) he went to said Castle and
informed him of itThat the next day said Castle, James
Hitchcock
< no role > ) Brother to the said Joseph Hitchcock< no role > ) and this Informant
went to said Joseph Hitchcock< no role > in Tothill Fields Bridewell
when said Joseph Hitchcock< no role > asked said Castle what was become of
the Dollars, and if they were safe, to which he replied that
they were safethat said Hitchcock whispered to said Castle
and desired him to move them from the place where they
then were, 'till he was out of Custody for as Jack Miles< no role >
knew where they were he might perhaps send some Person to
fetch them awaythat said Hitchcock desired this Informant to
call on said [..] Castle that Night at ten oClock to get said
Dollars, which he did but said Castle was outThat the
next Night said Castle and this Informant searched for said
Dollars in a Field at the back of a Tanners Yard near
Long Lane but could not find themthat said Castle then
