Middlesex to Wit

The Information of May Cook< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Westons
at the Thirteen Cantoons at Irongate in the Precinct
of Saint Catherines in the County aforesaid taken
before me this 18th.. day of February 1785

Who being upon Oath says, that about eight oClock
in the Evening of Wednesday [..] the sixth of October last Joseph

Newgate , Edward Payne< no role > since Convicted, John Dolphin< no role > now
in [..] Clerkenwell Bridewell and Thomas Brown< no role > and Arthur James< no role > on now at large
met by Agreement at the Ship in Denmark Street Ratcliffe
Highway That this Informant brought with him a Boat
which he put at King Edward's Stairs near Denmark Street
That between ten and eleven oClock the same Night the said
Joseph Hitchcock< no role > , John Miles< no role > , James Gray< no role > , Edward Payne< no role > , John
Dolphin
< no role > , Thomas Brown< no role > , and this Informant sat off in said
Boat with intent to rob the Ship Elbe, then lying off King
Edwards Stairs ) the said Arthur James< no role > on having told them to
go into the Captain's State Room, lift up the Captains Chest and they
would find in a Scuttoe or Hole a vast Quantity of Dollars
and desired said Joseph [..] Hitchcock< no role > alias Church to take
care of his Share of them) The they boarded the said Ship
about twelve oClock at Night and robbed the same of an
immense Quantity of Dollars and several WatchesThat
they took said Dollars and Watches to the House of one Robert
Brown
< no role > (since dead) at Limehouse , where they shared said
Dollars and WatchesThat the said Arthur Jameson< no role > , Joseph
Hitchcock
< no role > , and this informants Share's amounted to upwards
