Warehouse Mans Mercer the said Thomas Nicholls< no role >
and John Furneaux< no role > of White Hart Yard Drury Lane
Constable taken before me this 12th day of Febry. 1785

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Gentell Chappell< no role > says
that about half part six oClock on Thursday Night last the Window
of his Shop was broke and a piece of Hair Shag now produced
stolen thereinThe [..] said George Marsh< no role > and Thomas Templin< no role >
say that between the hours of six and seven oClock in the
Evening of Thursday last they saw a person now present who
calls himself Henry Murphy< no role > break the said Gentell Chapells
Shop Window and Steal the said Hair ShagAnd the said
Thomas Nicholls< no role > and John Furneaux< no role > say that about seven
oClock in the Evening of Thursday last they searched the
Lodgings of the said Henry Murphy< no role > at the Artichoke Alehouse
in White Hart Yard Drury Lane where they found under
the Bed the said piece of hair Shag
