Who upon his Oath Saith That he this Informant
did about the hour of Ten. oClock on Saturday Morning
last in Company with Machen Simpson< no role >
another
Officer of Excise
and others says in his Majestys [..]
Twelve Baggs of Tenatwhich had not paid the
Lawful Duty to his Majesty for the same at a place
called Apperton
in the County of Middlesex
That
they proceeded from Apperton aforesaid with out
Molestation until they same into Broad Street
Saint Giles in the fields
in the said Count And
this Informant further saith That in Broad
Street

toin Company with a great Number of other Persons
above the Number of three Made an Assault upon
him this Informant and the other Officersandwith
Fire Army and other Offendy Weapons and
forcibly and feloniously Recued and Took the
same Tea away Together with a Horse and
Cart which they had procured in Conveying the same
to the Excise Offial
