Middlesex to wit


The Information of Thomas Aynton< no role > Gentleman ,
Mary Elizabeth Silvester< no role > and John Speirs< no role >
taken before me this 8th,, day of December
1783.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Thomas Ayrton< no role > says
that a Quantity of Lead Pipe< no role > now produced is the property of
this Informant, and was feloniously stolen and is a part of the
Water Pipe in the Kitchen of his House in Burleigh Street .
And the said Mary Elizabeth Silvester< no role > says that she is a
Lodger in said House, and upon hearing a Knocking in the
Cellar of said House on Saturday night last about 8 o'Clock,
she acquainted the said John Spiers< no role > therewith. And the
said John Spiers< no role > says that he immediately went into the
Kitchen of said House where, he found the Lead Pipe now
produced cut off, and lying on the Kitchen Floor, and in
the Kitchen Chimney found a Person now present who calls
himself Thomas Pritchard< no role > . That whilst this Informant went
up to call Assistance said Pritchard followed him up,and
locked the Street door and shut him out; but was afterwards
secured in the Vault.
