Who being on Oath say and first the said John Grayson< no role >
says
that on the 14 of August last he sold the Brace of Pistols now
produced for £1..7..0 to a Person now present who calls
himself Alexander Kennedy< no role >
as he verily believes, who at
that time was dressed in a Blue Coat with a red collar and
his hair hanging loose. And the said Michael Donaty
says that he lives with Henry Lee< no role >
a Silversmith
in
Petticoat Lane
. That on Sunday morning last about 5 oClock
two Persons now present who call themselves Henry Horne< no role >
and Alexander Kennedy< no role >
knocked at his Masters door
when Informant getup and let them in That they asked for
Informants Master Informant replied that it was too soon
to distant him and asked them what they wanted that Horne
replied "We have a gold Trick (meaning a Watch) & 2 Rings
to sell"- Informant desired them to leave them with him
until his Master get up and to call again in about two
hours- That Horne gave this Informant the Watch, his seals,
watch Key. Hook and two Rings now produced and then both
went away. That an about an hour and half afterwards the
said Horne and Kennedy returned again when this Informants
called up his Master who came down whom Horne asked
Twenty Guineas for the whole. That Informants Master bid him four
Guineas and afterwards four Guineas and half which they took
and then went away. That said Kennedy at this time was
dressed in a Blue Coat with a red collar and his Hair hunging
loose in his neck and that Horne was dressed in a high
