Who denieth that he stole the Muslin and Gauze now produced
and claimed by the said Hugh Wallace< no role >
or receiving them
knowing them knowing them to have been Stolen-That
he never saw the said Muslin and Gauze till he saw
it in the possession of Patrick Mc Manus< no role >
the Constable

nor was it ever in his Room at the House of Mrs.
Ward in Holborn to this Examinant's Knowledge, and
this Examinant further says that he doth not know
to whom the said Muslin & Gauze belongs or how or
by what means it came into his Room.
