of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in
the C ounty of Middlesex Broker
; and taken before me Wm. Addington< no role > Esqr.
one of his MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 23rd. Day of April
17 83.

Who says that he this Examinant did pawn the
pair of pistols with-Mr. Payne Pawnbroker< no role > in
Wardour Street , on or about the sixteenth of
April Instant for One Guinea. That he this
Examinant Bought the said Pistols on the same
Day on which he pawned them, for One pound
Six Shillings, of a Man in Oxford Street , whose
Name this Examinant Knows not, but who usually
Shews Wild Beast and did lodge at the Red Lyon
Alehouse in Oxford Street .
