Between three & four o Clock on friday Morning
the 27th. Decr: 1782. I was sent for to see a Gentleman
at Mr. Thomas Wildmans< no role >
-I found him siting
on a Settle supported by two Men entirely
Sence less, they had been attempting to give him
hartshorn and water, but from the Sencless
state he was in I don't suppose he could Swallow
any, I then immediately ordered him to be taken
up stairs to Bed & CoveredI Staid about an hour
in which time he showed no Sencability nor
able to swallow any thingI then took my
leave of him and beg'd he might he covered up
Warm, and saw him again in the Morning
found him in the same senceless stateI attended
three or four times in the day, and always found
him in the same state, and was with him
when he Died which was about five o Clock
in the afternoon.
