me this 22nd. day of January 1783.
Who being on Oath says that having received Information that a
Person now present who calls himself Abraham Butler< no role >
coined
and counterfeited Money at his House in Holborn, he went there
on Friday last. That in the Cock left of said Butler's house he found
a Cutting out Press with a cutting Engine fixed therein for Coining, and
a Quantity of round Blanks and Sissil now produced lying
mar them, together with another cutting Engine now produced.
And this Informant farther says he doth verily believe that
he said Abraham Butler< no role >
Knowingly had in his House Custody
and possession the aforesaid Press for Coinage and two cutting
Engines: and that he hid and concealed the same without lawful
Authority or sufficient Excuse for that Purpose.
