of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said County
Who being upon Oath saith that on Saturday
Night last between one and two oClock
he was going along the Strand
when
the person now present who calls
herself Elizabeth Berry< no role >
came up to him
and after asking him to go with her which
he refused and then asked this Informant
to give her a Shilling, this Informant
(told her he had no Silver, upon which
She put her Hand upon his Breeches
Pocket
and Immediately Ran away
when this Informed from her Running
away [..] Suspected she had Robb'd him
and Immediately Run after her and Cried [..]
Stop thief and soon after he over took her
and found in her Hand a Silk Purse
Containing therein Seven Guineas and seven
half Guineas now produced & which said purse and money was
feloniously taken out of his pocket as above [..] bed
