Bedstead Maker and

Journeyman Bedstead Makers Taken and
made in Oath before me one of his Majestys
Justices of the peace
for the said County the
21st. day of November 1782.
And first this Informant Robert Rawlings< no role >
for himself Saith That he has lately been Robbed
of a large Quantity of Mahogany and has had a
Strong suspicion of his Porter Samuel Tibbey's
having Stolen the same That this Morning about
the hour of 6 oClock the said Samuel Tibbey< no role >
was
seen to Take One Large piece of Mahogany out of the
Yard adjoining to this Deponents Dwelling House
and Carried the same to a Gateway about 4 Houses
beyond his said House where he left the same and
this Informant then had him Taken into Custody
That having been informed by the said Henry Elliott< no role >
That he saw the said Samuel Tibbey< no role >
with another
piece of Mahogany on Tuesday last and that he followed him as
far as Market Lane Saint James and Carried the
Same into a House there In Consequence of which
this Informant and the said Henry Elliott< no role >
went
to the said place to Enquire about the same when
they found in a House Occupied by one Stephen
Thompson< no role >
Three large posts of Mahogany when
upon asking the said Stephen Thompson< no role >
how and
in what manner he came by them he said he [..]
bought them of a person who formerly worked for
