of Chandes Street Cavendish Square , taken
before me this 11th.. day of Mary 1781.

Who being upon Oath says that last night about 10 o'Clock
as this Informant was coming out of the Opera House , where
there was a great Crond, a Person now present who calls
him self Peter Verier pushed against this Informant about
which Time this Informant felt his Watch pulling out of
his fob: that he put his hand to his Watch which was
almost out, when the said Peter Verier< no role > who had hold
of this Informants chain and Seals, by a sudden pull
broke the Chain and Seals off; when this Informant
seized him by his collar [..] with one hand and with the
other formd his Chain and Seals in said Verier's
hand.
