On the prosecution of John Webb< no role >
for Felony

Mary Newton< no role > of the parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in
the City of London Widow Maketh Oath and Saith that one Andrew
Jones
< no role > who is a Material Witness for the Defendant in this Cause and
without whose Testimony she can't with Safety take her Trial,
Sailed out of the River Thomas on Saturday last in the Ship or.
Vessel called the Peggy bound for the Town or Port of Carmarthan in
Wales, and further Deposeth she verily believes that the said
Andrew Jones will Return before the next Session & that he will
Attend and give Evidence on the part and behalf of the Defendant.
The Defendant Elizabeth Price on her Oath saith that
the Above Named Andrew Jones is A very Material Witness for
her, and without his Testimony she is not safe to proceed to
trial, and that she Received A Message from the said
Andrew Jones purporting that he could not Attend this
Session, but if Deponant could have her trial put of that
would possitively, attend as the next Session and give
Evidence on her behalf
