These are to Certify that at the Delivery of the King's Gaol of
Newgate holden for the County of Middlesex at Justice Hall in the Old
Bailey in the Suburbs of the City of London on Wednesday the Sixteenth
day of February in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France
and Ireland King Defender of the Faith Etc Before Frederick Bull< no role >
Esquire Mayor of the City of London Sir Richard Adams< no role > Knight
one of the Barons of our said Lord the King of the Court of Exchequer
Sir William Henry Ashhurst< no role > Knight one of the Justice of our
said Lord the King Assigned to hold Pleas before the King himself
Sir George Narse< no role > Knight one of the Justice of our said Lord
the King of his Court of Common Pleas Sir Charles Asgill< no role >
Knight and Baronet one of the Aldermen of the said City of
London Samuel Turner< no role > Esquire one other of the Aldermen of
the said City John Glynn< no role > Serjeant at Law Recorder of the said
City Sir Thomas Hallifax< no role > Knight an other of the Aldermen of

the Aldermen of the said City and others their Fellows Justices
of our said Lord the King Assigned to deliver the said Gaol of our
said Lord the King of Newgate of the Prisoners of the rein being
William Hall< no role > late of the Parish of Saint John at Hackney in the
County of Middlesex Labourer was in due form of Law Indicted
and Convicted of Feloniously Stealing on the seventh day of
February in the fourteenth Year aforesaid at the Parish aforesaid
in the County aforesaid ten Linnens Shirts of the Value of Forty
Shillings of the Goods and Chattles of Robert Fletcher< no role > against His
Majesty's peace his Crown and Dignity And that at the same
Session he was then and these Ordered by the Court to be
Transported as soon as conveniently might be to some of
his Majesty's Colonies and Plautatious in America for the
Space of seven Years according to the form of the Statute in such
Case made and provided as by the Record of the said Court in
my Custody man more fully Appear Dated the twelfth day of
April 1774.
